This collection contains 48 plants, that's 16 each of Broccoli Marathon, Cauliflower Baldo Delicious and Cabbage Excel, and you'll SAVE £5 compared to if you were to buy the collections indiviually!
Our Extra Early Brassica Collection includes 16 plants each of:
Broccoli (Calabrese) Marathon - Produces dense blue-green, finely beaded succulent heads from May.
Cabbage Excel - One of the best spring cabbages, producing firm, pointed heads in May but can be picked before maturity and eaten as 'spring greens' in April.
Cauliflower Baldo Delicious - An excellent, early maturing variety that will not 'blow' in warm weather.
This collection is supplied as young plants. By sowing seed in the autumn and then gently growing the plants on over the winter under controlled, cool greenhouse conditions, we produce sturdy young plants that are ready to despatch and plant out in mid/late March, some 8-10 weeks earlier than the main brassica planting period.

I have bought the early brassica plants from Marshalls for several years and have been very pleased with the strong plants and more importantly the quality of the end product. My parents were so impressed with my cauliflowers and broccoli last year that i am also ordering a collection for them this year.
I grew them in Scotland and I have never had such good caulflower. Just ordered them again. Thanks
At first I was a bit wary ( I had never bought plants over th internet before). However a bit of growing on in the greenhouse and they were very healthy when planted out and a lot earlier than local garden centres. All 3 varieties produced very tasty heads and even my wife, who is very fussy when it comes to brassicas, thought that they were superb. I have ordered them again this year.
The collection was absolutely brilliant. The plants were all strong, healthy and ready to go. I prepared the soil with weed supressing membrane and a polythene cloche over our raised bed for a few weeks before, planted the plants as soon as they came and kept the cloche in place for a few weeks.
