Beautifully rounded pink and white tuber with floury white flesh. Smooth tubers with shallow eyes make it perfect for the show-bench.
A heavy cropper, excellent for long storage. Good blight resistance.
Plant from late March in the south, mid/late April in the north and lift for storage in September and October.

Good blight resistance and really nice taste.
Brilliant potato great disease resistance and a good all rounder. Stores really well too!!
Used Cara for several years with great success, then changed for a three years with moderate success - give me back my Cara this year!
Used these last season and had a great return of large tubers, ideal for baking. Tried something new this year but will certainly go back to Cara for the maincrop in 2011.
Excellent potaoto variety especially for mash & baking. Will yield a heavy crop that stores well. Had a couple of huge one this year, where one baked was enough for two people to share!
good main cropper and good all round potato will buy cara again.
