Hardy Garden ‘Mums’
Just as hardy as the more widely known Garden ‘Mums’ but even more floriferous. The plants will produce so many flowers that they form almost spherical cushions. In fact, it’s not unusual for a single plant to carry over 500 buds!
Flowering from late summer to the end of October they’re perfect for growing either singly in 25cm/10in pots or as a group towards the front of the border, spaced about 60cm/2ft apart.
Height 45cm/18in. Flowers September onwards.
Chrysanthemum Early Decorative Sprays
These wonderful outdoor sprays will provide plenty of long-lasting cut flowers. Growing your own is so simple – they do not need dis-budding like Blooms but will benefit from being ‘stopped’ (pinching out the growing tip). This will produce many more flowering stems.
Height Stop plants at approx 120cm/4ft. Flowers Late August onwards.
Chrysanthemum Early Outdoor Blooms
You can easily grow Florists’ Chrysanthemums yourself! To produce the best and biggest blooms you’ll need to ‘stop’ the plants (take out the growing tip) and ‘dis-bud’ as the stems grow – full details will be sent with your plants.
Height Stop plants at approx 120cm/4ft. Flowers Late August – Early September onwards.
