Crataegus Crimson Cloud
This small Hawthorn tree is tough and easy to grow. In May it is laden with a veritable cloud of deliciously fragrant blossom of rich red with prominent white centres, loved by pollinating insects. Flowers are followed by shiny red berries which are excellent food for many birds especially finches and tits. Birds love to nest in its branches too.
