Cress - Curly Top Seeds
Grow on kitchen roll in small trays on the windowsill or get the kids to paint a face on empty eggshells, put damp cotton wool inside, sprinkle a few seeds on it and watch green hair grow!
If you love egg and cress sandwiches, grow your own cress!
How to Make Your Curly Top
1. Fill a clean egg shell with damp cotton wool and sprinkle on seeds.
2. Keep in a warm light place, check that the cotton wool is always damp.
3. Your seeds will sprout in about 7 days!
Cut when green and curly.
- 7500 Seeds - Sufficient for 5 Punnets
Sowing Indoors
Sow in a tray of seed compost or on kitchen roll or other absorbent materials. Keep the compost or kitchen roll moist and place it somewhere warm, such as a Kitchen windowsill. The cress should start growing in a few days.
Harvest
Harvest as required, when the cress is about 5cm high. Cut the stems with scissors, but take care if they are sharp.
Special note
Never eat the seeds and always wash your hands after gardening.
