Eremurus Cleopatra - Foxtail Lily
A tall stately plant for the border producing tall burnt orange flower spikes which soar above the border in the early summer.
The sword-like, green leaves appear early and start to fade just as the flower spikes appear. Grow it with Acanthus spinosa for a really dramatic display! This magnificent plant originated in high stony mountainous regions, so prefers full sun and a welldrained soil with a little shelter from strong winds.
