A classic hardneck variety, originally from southwest France but grown for us on the Isle of Wight.

The white skinned, deep pink cloves have a smooth, almost creamy flavour.

However it is used, this variety is the one considered by many to provide the ultimate garlic experience.

I bought this garlic as a mixed order with shallots and am very happy as the garlic is in excellent condition,have planted it straight away along with the shallots,would definately recommend.

i got this one , cos the one i wanted was out of stock. i was impressed with this garlic , it coped with cold in the north east i also got about 100% perect galic and there great in curries.

I was really impressed with this garlic too, it coped with the freezing temperatures in February and was ready to harvest in mid june, I had almost 100% pefect garlic and now they're hanging quite happily in my kitchen, the only downside was that I didn't buy more, I will this year though! 5

I was really impressed with this garlic, performed really well in the Scottish Border hills. Friends and family love having fresh garlic, a real treat. I will have to grow more and more!!!
