Geranium Zonal - Fairy Rose
Fairy Rose provides a good bright burst of pink to the garden. The bi-coloured flowers have bright pink centres, fading out to the paler edge of each petal.
Whilst Zonal Geraniums look good in formal bedding schemes, modern varieties, are often grown as focal feature plants in containers. With strong, sturdy stems, the flower clusters stand strong for the whole summer. As soon as most of the flowers on one of the cluster start to fade, simply snap off the flower stem with you thumb and finger. Not only will this refresh the look of the plant instantly, but it will encourage a new flower cluster to grow in it"s place. The more you dead-head, the longer they"ll flower!
