Anagallis Blue Pimpernel
A choice plant for hanging baskets and patio containers, where the intensely deep blue flowers can be fully appreciated.

Sowing Indoors
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in warmth 15-20C (60-70F) and keep moist.
Growing on / thinning
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from bright sun. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm (2in) apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening off / planting
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when danger of frost has passed. Allow 30cm (12in) between plants if setting them out in the garden. Plants in baskets and patio containers can be planted closer.
