Astrantia Buckland Bare Root Plant

£5.99 each

  • Varieties suitables for cutting
  • Hardy Perennial - sow indoors or on a seedbed (April-June); transplant later to flower for many seasons
  • Attracts Bees

Astrantia Buckland bare root plants produce attractive, pale pink flowers with hints of green and white. The flowers, which appear from June to August, are held above deep green, lobed leaves and compared to many other Astrantias, Buckland produces much larger flowers. Perfect for cottage-garden displays, it can be used equally well in contemporary planting schemes. Great for a sunny or partially shaded spot as long as the soil remains moist.

Astrantia are perfect plants for moist, shady borders. Plant the bare roots into weed free soil and water in. Cut back spent stems in late autumn when flowering has finished and plants will re-emerge next spring
