Beetroot seeds are large and irregular, each one is actually a cluster of seeds and will produce more than one seedling.

TIP: Sow bolt resistant beetroot varieties from mid-March as soon as the soil begins to warm up (or under cloches) Sow other varieties from mid-April to July. In autumn, beetroot can be lifted, stored in sand and kept frost free.
