Begonia Fragrant Odorata Mother's Day
With a superb cascading habit, long-lasting blooms and lovely perfume, these Fragrant Begonias deserve to planted close to the house so their attributes can be best appreciated. Perfect for containers, baskets and windowboxes.
Mother"s Day has pretty creamy-white petals with a subtle pink tinge. This variey looks lovely planted in a hanging basket either on it"s own or with blue trailing Lobelia.
These Begonias are supplied as bulbs, which are despatched between March and April. On arrival they can be planted straight away in a frost free area, such as a greenhouse at a depth of around 2 inches. Tuberous Begonias are frost sensitive, so they need to be grown on under cover until late May (or when all risk of frost has passed). Don"t forget to unearth your Begonia tubers after the summer and store them in a frost free, dry place. This way you"ll be able to use them again next year.
