Black Eyed Susan Susie Mix
A fascinating and unusual subject for a warm, sheltered spot, where it will happily climb or trail.
Black Eyed Susan will do even better if grown as a conservatory plant, as it is a native of tropical Africa.
Our mixture includes orange, yellow and white, with and without black eyes.
- Trails or climbs
- Quick to flower
- 20 Seeds
- 90cm / 36in

Sowing Indoors
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in warmth at 15-25C (60-75F) and keep moist.
Growing on / thinning
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from bright sun. When large enough to handle transplant individually to 8cm / 3in pots of potting compost.
Hardening off / planting
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when danger of frost has passed.
Special note
For flowering pot plants for conservatory or greenhouse, move the young plants on to larger pots as necessary. Provide canes as support.
