Carrot Nandor Seeds
A fine quality "Nantes" type carrot, stump rooted and with resistance to carrot fly - which makes it ideal for gardeners who prefer not to use chemicals.
It is quick to mature, and gives excellent yields of sweet tasty roots which are delicious cooked or used in salads.

Sowing Outdoors
Sow seed thinly in pre-watered shallow rows, and cover with a little soil. Allow about 25cm (10in) between rows. As seedlings develop, thin them initially to about 2cm (1in) apart. Keep soil moist until seedlings are established.
Special note
Carrots do best in light, well dug, stone free soils which have not been recently manured.
