Wonderful 'nutty' celery-like flavour which adds an extra bite when grated into autumn salads.
Serve as a tasty alternative to swede; or cut into chunks and roasted with a dusting of paprika or curry powder. Delicious!

Hardening off / planting
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out in May or June. Allow 25cm (10in) between plants and 45cm (18in) between rows.
Aftercare
Keep well watered in dry spells. Celeriac does best under moist conditions.
