Cosmos Gazebo Mixed Seeds
This vivacious mix of strong and soft shades flowers earlier than other cosmos, and is so versatile.
Use it as a filler in borders, as a centre piece in beds or to create a charming cottage garden effect.
It is also long lasting as a cutflower. The name 'cosmos' comes from the Greek word for 'ornament'.

Sowing Indoors
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in warmth 15-20C (60-70F), and keep moist.
Growing on / thinning
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from bright sun. When large enough to handle transplant 5cm (2in) apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening off / planting
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when danger of frost has passed. Allow 20cm (8in) between plants.
