Gazania Starbright Seed Mix
Hardier than many summer bedders, gazanias can go out early to free up greenhouse space!
This wonderful mixture does best in a sunny position and is tolerant of very dry soils. The bright colours and bicolours are set against both silvery and green foliage.

Sowing Indoors
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in warmth 15-20C (60-70F), and keep moist.
Growing on / thinning
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from bright sun. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm (2in) apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening off / planting
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out from April onwards. Allow 20cm (8in) between plants.
