A good crop of large, well shaped fruit will be ready to pick from late July.
Berries ripen to a deep reddish-pink and are juicily sweet, so much so that, unlike green gooseberries, they can be eaten straight from the bush!
Almost thornless stems, and resistant to powdery mildew.
Delivery from early/mid November onwards.
