The Micromesh cover has an ultra-fine mesh size of 0.6mm x 0.6mm, which is small enough to keep out Cabbage Root Fly, Carrot Fly, White Fly, Onion Fly, Flea Beetle, Vine Weevil and Aphids and others, also bees, wasps, Cutworm and other caterpillars, moths and butterflies. It also provides a physical barrier to all common garden pests, but, at the same time, allows air and moisture to circulate so your plants stay healthy and well nourished.
The soft green tint provides additional benefits: the shading and prevention of scorching from strong sunlight; the conservation of moisture when daytime temperatures are high or during sudden drought; the conservation of warmth when ambient temperatures drop; and, a more natural-looking colour for your garden. Even better, there’s no need to remove the growing tunnel when watering or giving liquid feed, as you can just apply it directly through the mesh.
