Heathcliff Sweet Pea Seeds
Exceptionally fragrant blooms which are markedly larger than those of the old grandifloras.
Their long stems give them greater appeal as cut flowers.

Sowing Indoors
Sow 5 seeds in a 12cm/5in pot of moist seed compost. Lightly cover with compost.
Water well after sowing but not again until seedlings emerge. Germinate at 10-15C / 50-60F
Sowing Outdoors
Sow 2cm / 1in deep and 10cm / 4 in apart. Water daily until seedlings emerge.
Growing on / thinning
Grow on indoor raised seedlings in unheated conditions, ideally in a cold frame.
Hardening off / planting
From March, spacing 20cm / 8in apart. Support with canes or netting.
Aftercare
Support young plants with canes or netting.
Special note
Do not allow seed pods to form as this will reduce flowering performance. Autumn sown seedlings are best over-wintered in a cold frame.
