Easy to grow, perennial hellebores are excellent for bringing early spring colour to a border. Hellebores are non-fussy plants and will grow in a sunny boder as well as shade or dappled shade under trees.
As one of the first plants in the garden to start flowering, they are a very welcome sight after winter. They also make great planting partners for spring bedding and bulbs, too, such as Daffodils and purple Anemones.
Upright stems carry showy, cup-shaped dark red flowers with yellow anthers. The leaves are an attractive palmate shape, thick and deep green.
