Sowing Indoors
Almost fill 12cm (5in) pots with moist seed compost. Sow five seeds, evenly spaced, per pot and cover with 1cm (1/2in) of compost.
Water well after sowing. Sept/Oct sowings give the earliest blooms. Over winter seedlings in a cold frame. Place Jan-Mar sowings in warmth 10-15C (50-60F). When seedlings emerge transfer pots to cold frame or greenhouse to harden off.

Sowing Outdoors
Sow seeds in flowering positions 2cm (1in) deep, 10cm (4in) apart. Keep moist in dry spells.

Hardening off / planting
Plant 20cm (8in) apart from March onwards.

Special note
Pick regularly for more blooms
