Ordered 15 lavender plants. On arrival 5 of them were growing strongly, the other 10 were in very poor condition. One has now given up the ghost and 2 or 3 more look like they'll be following suit in the next few days. Waste of money.
I was very pleased with the plug plants and they are growing on well.
Lavender carefully packed but one or two (out of thirty) looked unhappy. Now planted and too early to tell but looks like four will not take. Small plants but good value for money.

Why Buy Lavenders?
There's nothing like Lavender for adding traditional cottage-charm to a garden. Lavenders are not only beautifully scented and elegant, but they're adored by bees and butterflies too - you'll find them on the RHS Perfect for Pollinators list.
What's more, they're drought tolerant and very easy to look after too. Lavender plants are virtually maintenance free, only requiring a quick prune in the autumn after the flowers have faded. It's easy to do, just snip off the new growth and flower stems with secateurs, leaving the evergreen foliage in tact.
Young plants need water to grow good roots, but once they're established they barely need any water - perfect if you live in a hose-pipe ban area.See Full Description +
