Midnight Sweet Pea Seeds
Sweet Pea Midnight has large frilly flowers, well placed on long stout stems.
A very vigorous grower, this is an excellent exhibition variety.

Sowing Indoors
Almost fill 12cm (5in) pots with moist seed compost. Sow five seeds, evenly spaced, per pot and lightly cover them with a little more compost.
Water well after sowing, but not again until seedlings have emerged. Place in warmth 10-15C (50-60F).
Sowing Outdoors
Sow 2cm/1in deep and 10cm / 4in apart. Water daily until seedlings emerge.
Growing on / thinning
Grow on indoor raised seedlings in unheated conditions, ideally in a cold frame.
Hardening off / planting
Plant 20cm (8in) apart from March onwards. Support with canes or netting.
Special note
Do not allow seed pods to form as this will reduce flowering performance. Autumn sown seedlings are best over-wintered in a cold frame.
