Ordering / Delivery Information

1. Adding an item to your basket:
When you have found an item you wish to order, clicking on the ‘Add to barrow' button will add this item to your basket. You will find the ‘Add to barrow' button next to each item in a category, or if you click on the item for more details. The last item added to your basket will be on view in your basket indicator at the top right hand side of your screen.

2. Quick order:
If you have a recent printed catalogue and already know the items you wish to purchase, simply select the quick order box on the home page and type in the product codes. Please include the "hyphen" when entering the item numbers e.g. 5010-2180

3. Postage and Packing Charges:
Postage and Packing is £3.75, unless your order is just for seed then the cost is just £1.25.

4. Payment

The following credit and debit cards are our preferred form of payment, and the only way to order online:

Visa     -     Delta     -     MasterCard     -     Switch

If you wish to pay by cheque or postal order please print your order and post it in with payment.

Whatever your form of payment we collect the full amount of your purchases at the time of order no matter when the goods are to be delivered. We do this to avoid problems of cards no longer being valid at the date of delivery and to reduce administration costs when orders are fulfilled in stages (and so saving you money in the longer term). Should any items not be available we will refund you the amount in full by the same method as your payment as soon as we are aware of the difference.

Delays in delivery will occur if inaccurate payment details are given so please ensure that the card and other payment details provided are correct. We may suspend or cancel a delivery if full payment is not available when your order is made.

Gift vouchers
If you have a promotional electronic voucher code you will need to enter this at checkout.

We are sorry but this website is currently unable to accept our standard paper gift vouchers.

5. Delivery:
When you have confirmed your basket, you will be taken to some delivery options, for example if you want your parcel sent to a different address. Because of the nature of our products, delivery dates for different items may be staggered - you should refer to each product category or individual item for definitive delivery times.

Delicate young plants are always sent by first class post, all other items are sent by second class post or carrier. Some parcels may need a signature on delivery - if a neighbour would take your parcel in your absence, please put their details in the ‘Delivery Instructions' box (max 6 words).

Seed orders are usually dispatched within 3-5 working days, except during our peak periods when it may take 7-10 working days. Any seasonal items will follow on to you as stated in the catalogue or item description.

6. Order confirmation:
Once your order has been accepted by us you will receive an automatic email to confirm this.
