Petunia Purple Wave (Trailing)
Capable of trailing for up to 1m (3ft), Purple Wave is perfect for hanging baskets and window boxes, where it will flower freely all summer long.
Alternatively, plant it into the garden to provide spectacular ground cover.

Sowing Indoors
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost.
Place in warmth 18-25C (65-75F), and keep moist. Dry conditions will prevent the seeds germinating.
Growing on / thinning
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from bright sun. When large enough to handle, transplant individually to 8cm (3in) pots.
Hardening off / planting
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when danger of frost has passed. Allow 30cm (12in) between plants if planting in the garden.
Container plantings can be much closer together. Water well in dry weather and feed plants regularly with a liquid fertiliser.
