Tips & Advice:
Sowing Indoors
Sow 5-6 seeds per module in trays of firm pre-watered compost and cover with 0.5cm of vermiculite or sieved compost. Place in warmth, 15-20°C and keep moist at all times.
Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position, shading from bright sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant modules to small pots of potting compost.
Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2 to 3 weeks before planting out 30cm apart. Do not separate the module as Dill has a delicate root system.
Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly 0.5cm deep direct in harvest position. Thin seedlings to 20cm apart. Keep soil moist at all times.
Advice
Dill is an annual and will need sowing every season.
