Tips & Advice:
Sowing Indoors
Sow seeds individually on edge in small pots of moist seed compost 1.5cm deep. Place in the warmth, 15-20°C and cover pots with cling fillm until seedlings emerge. Grow on under cool, light conditions, but not in direct sunlight.
Planting Out
Gradually accustom young plants to conditions outside for 2-3 weeks before planting out to their cropping position in well-manured soil when the danger of frost has passed.
Sowing Outdoors
Water sowing positions well, then sow two or three seeds on their edges, 2.5cm deep and close together in a group with 75cm between groups. After germination, leave only the strongest seedlings in each group.
Advice
Once the fruits begin to swell, feed regularly with a liquid tomato feed and keep well watered.
