Similarly, this rose has not yet shown signs of life due to the time of year and cold temperatures but hopefully it will be different in six months time.
Rose (Climbing) Madame Alfred Carriere - Bare Root
An old favourite and still very much in demand 'Madame Alfred Carriere' is an excellent choice even for a north wall with its vigorous growth belying the delicate beauty of its flowers. The beautiful ivory-coloured blooms look like rumpled silk hankies and they smell divine!
Plant this rose where it can ramble and climb profusely, and give it strong supports to take the weight of its flowers.
Our roses are supplied bare root and dormant, ready to burst into life in spring. Excellent value for money, they have a minimum of three strong healthy stems to give you a well balanced plant and lots of flowers. Bare root plants establish more quickly and can be planted much earlier than potted roses.
Our bare root roses will be delivered from October to end of April. The approximate height of the delivered bare rooted rose is up to 50cm/20in from root to tip.
Plant bare root roses from October-April into well prepared weed free soil. (See our rose growing guide for full planting instructions)See Full Description +
