Spring Onion Deep Purple Seeds
Naturally larger bulbed than other spring onions, Deep Purple produces violet-purple torpedo-shaped onions, perfect for use in salads or stir fries.
They have a good flavour without being too 'hot'.

Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly in pre-watered shallow drills, and cover with a little more soil. Allow 20cm (8in) between rows. Keep soil moist until seedlings are established.
No need to thin - just pull when onions are young and thin.
Sow little and often for a continuous supply throughout the summer.
