Sunflower Ginger Nut Seeds
A fully double, bright orange sunflower with heads up to 30cm (12in) across.
When closely planted it makes a good screen or temporary hedge, and the blooms last up to a fortnight as cutflowers - if you have a large enough vase!

Sowing Indoors
Sow individually in small pots of moist seed compost, lightly covering the seeds. Place in gentle warmth 10-15C (50-60F).
Sowing Outdoors
Sow seeds 2cm (1in) deep in pre-watered soil about 15cm (6in) apart in a row or in groups. Keep the soil moist until seedlings are well established. This out if seedlings appear to be overcrowded.
Hardening off / planting
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out to their flowering positions about 30cm (12in) apart from May onwards.

Sunflower seeds are delicious in a wide range of dishes.
