Love Sweet Williams but cannot wait a year for flowers? Then Noverna is for you because it flowers just a few weeks after sowing and produces blooms for most of the summer - much longer than older varieties.
Our mixture has a great range of colours and the blooms are sweetly scented.

Sowing Indoors
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in warmth 15-20C (60-70F), and keep moist.
Growing on / thinning
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from bright sun. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm (2in) apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening off / planting
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when danger of frost has passed. Allow 40cm (16in) between plants.
