Planting

All our bare root trees are delivered with a growing guide that gives full planting instructions.

 Aftercare

Tip-prune walnut trees regularly to keep the trees a manageable size.

Don’t compost the leaves and don’t grow anything underneath the walnut because walnut trees can inhibit the growth of other plants.

Harvest walnuts from August until December, both as unripe fruits for pickling and to eat as mature nuts.
