Zinnia Hotshot Seeds
Big, bold flowers in a wide range of bright colours are the hallmark of this exuberant mixture.
They look good for much of the summer in bedding schemes or borders and are also long lasting as a cut flower. Zinnias do best in a warm, sunny position.

Sowing Indoors
Sow seeds individually in cells or small pots, as zinnias resent disturbance. Cover lightly with a little more compost. Place in warmth 15-20C (60-70F).
Growing on / thinning
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from bright sun. When large enough to handle, transplant to larger pots if necessary.
Hardening off / planting
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when danger of frost has passed. Allow 30cm (12in) between plants. Pinch out the growing tip to encourage bushy growth and plenty of blooms.
