This summer flowering bulb is new to our collection this year, but this bold perennial will definitely be around for a while. The Agapanthus Africanus Albus or Lily of the Nile is a beautiful and reliable flower that is tough and drought-tolerant. Their statuesque stems give them a bold and architectural allure that fit well into a modern garden setting or traditional mixed borders.

With globes of trumpet shaped flowers in a wonderful bright white, these pretty blooms stand tall and proud in any garden. The strong, sturdy stems and strap like leaves of fresh green support explosions of white blooms that can be cut and put into your own creative bouquet. They are perfect if you do not have much space as they thrive just as well in pots and containers as they do in the ground.

Just plant them in a sunny sheltered spot, deep enough to accommodate the plug and make sure the soil is well drained a fertile. It is recommended that you deadhead as needed as this will encourage further growth. This Agapanthus can grow up to 80cm tall and spread to 50cm wide and can attract wildlife to your garden.
