Anemone bulbs produce cup-shaped blooms which are held above finely cut foliage. The anemone bulbs spring to life and flowers will appear in early spring while the foliage dies back in summer.  Anemones reappear every spring to give a fantastic display in beds and borders or in containers.
Anemone flowers are held on sturdy stems and they make lovely cut flowers for spring posies.

Plant anemone bulbs in autumn. Pre soak the tubers before planting 8cm/3in deep in light, well drained soil, in a sunny, sheltered position.

After care Protect plants from frost with a dry mulch in winter.
