Egremont Russet is a superior, classic variety with an RHS Award of Garden Merit.

It produces russet-skinned apples with a great balance between sweetness and sharpness, the skin has a distinctive dry rustic appearance producing a nutty flavour. 

Egremont is enjoyed by many on cheeseboards or cooking in a pie or tart. Juicing because of its sweet flavour also remains a popular way of enjoying Egremont. 

A self-fertile apple that is easy to grow so it is the perfect addition to a garden where there is only enough room for one apple tree.

Harvest from October and November they can be eaten straight away or stored for up to three months.
