Our products are all grown with the utmost care and to high standards of quality. We regularly check our nursery stock to determine exactly when they will be at the optimum time for despatch.
We despatch our fresh, nursery-grown live plants (including vegetables, trees and flowers) when they are at a stage of growth ready for you, the customer, to plant on at home.
The delivery period shown on your order confirmation indicates when you can expect to receive your order and we will endeavour to despatch your plants in this period within 7-14 days

If you fancy a taste of Asia on your dinner plate, whether it be in a stir-fry or a curry, then prepare to be blown away by this collection.
Containing Rungia klossi (mushroom herb), ginger mint and Helichrysum italicum (curry plant), these plants are a true taste sensation that will add an extra dimension to your favourite Asian dish.
These herbs are quick to grow and give you a wealth of edible leaves. We provide one plug plant each of mushroom herb, ginger mint and curry plant which you simply add to a pot, water, place in a sunny site and watch grow to give lush leaves you can pick to zest up Thai curries and lots more.
Mushroom Herb Rungia klossi
Leaves have a mushroom-like aroma and flavour that intensifies when steamed or added to a casserole. This adds that extra richness to sauces.
Curry Herb Helichrysum italicum
Silvery, white slim leaves that not only look attractive but smell and taste pungent and flavoursome. Works well visually with the glossy leaves of mushroom plant.
Grows well in full sun to give you leaves with that taste of ginger, which adds to Asian dishes marvellously. We recommend you stir in some leaves to a Thai curry to add punch.
Planting your Herb Plants
We’d recommend you plant 2 lots of 3 herb plug-plants to 1 pot with a 12in (30cm) diameter, to give you a nice full pot of lush leaves for picking through the summer. Just designate a third of the pot for two plants of each of the 3 herbs.
Plant up several pots so you have a continual supply- they make a great gift too to friends who enjoy cooking and have that culinary flair.
Grow in pots with free-draining compost to ensure the plants have the best soil to grow and thrive in.
How your plants arrive
Each of your herbs arrive to you as young plants containing a ‘plug’ of soil with roots running through them and some small green stems and leaves.
Although they are little they are the perfect size to get growing fast once you plant them up.
Your herb plants will arrive to you in a plastic wallet contained in a bubble-lined envelope or a box for larger orders. The wallet allows your young plants to stay healthy by giving them an ideal air and root environment when it arrives to you. Check your 3 plants are there in the plastic wallet, according to your order.
Can’t plant straight away?
If you cannot plant up your herb plants straight away into their permanent position make sure the plugs of your plants are kept moist at all times.
You can place your plants on a saucer or tray of water so the plugs are immersed at the beginning of the day. Keep an eye on them and take them out of the water once the soil is moist from absorbing the water beneath.
Keep your herb plants in a well-ventilated and light position in their plastic wallet after giving them water. Look to planting in their permanent position within 5-7 days.See Full Description +
