Enjoy the impressive attributes of butterfly bush buddleja davidii Harlequin. The rare colourful leaf form gives this hardy plant its name Harlequin; the contrasting flower heads are extra-large and long, and sweet in fragrance.
In spring the graceful stems produce long, sword-like silvery leaves that support the eventual flowers in summer. Some of the most attractive and dainty of British butterflies will frequent the flowers of buddleja davidii Harlequin, adding welcome animation to your garden.
Useful Tip:
Grow with nearby dahlias, especially purple varieties to complement the two plants. We find that rowan trees complement buddlejas very well, especially when the berries appear in late summer.
