Corydalis Calycosa - 9cm Potted Perennial x1
- True-blue flowers every year
- Happy in dappled or deep shade
- Enjoy a wave of rare sky-blue tubular flowers
Take advantage of the rare sky-blue flowers of Corydalis calycosa; a cottage-garden fumitory that is most happy in awkward dry shady spots where other flowers are absent. It’s not often you come across lovely sky-blue flowers so maximise on this rare perennial.
Happy in patio or balcony containers too fumitory Corydalis calycosa brings your outdoor space to life even if you don’t have a lawn and surrounding beds. The flowers work particularly well with other alpine and rock garden flowers like pasque flowers Pulsatilla, wood anenomes, erythroniums and wild dwarf tulips.
We recommend that you partner your Corydalis calycosa with the interesting trailing leaves of helichrysum or creeping Jenny if growing in containers. All these varieties appreciate dappled shade.
Plant in a well-aired compost. John Innes No2 or a potting compost are suitable media for these beautiful flowers.See Full Description +
