The stems are tall and upright yet compact so give you drama in the garden without taking up lots of space- ideal for if you have a small garden.

Flowering in April and May Cytisus Apricot Gem pairs well with crown imperial fritillaries in yellow and orange. Both Cytisus and crown imperials enjoy free draining soil and like exposure to sun. Tulips dotted around in the vicinity also adds to your flower display.

Useful Tip:

If growing in containers choose an ericaceous compost which the roots of Cytisus Apricot Gem will appreciate. If planting in an existing bed be sure to add grit to open up the soil if it is heavy and clay-like in structure. Choose a sunny site for the best flower displays.
