Daffodils & Narcissi
The word ‘Daffodil' is generally used for a Narcissus that has a trumpet, but whether you call them daffodils or narcissi their appeal is the same. Regarded as heralds of spring, daffodils are hardy bulbs coping well with winter cold. Daffodils look wonderful planted in drifts under trees and shrubs; but they are perfect for containers too. Just plant these hardy, no fuss bulbs once in autumn and they'll come back every year!
