New to Unwins, the Dahlia Boogie Woogie is an anemone-flowering dahlia. The bloom has two layers of pink and white petals that act as a skirt while a tighter puff of yellow petals sits on top. It’s like a procession of radiant crowns.

Plant your Boogie Woogie bulb-like tubers in spring to appreciate their bold, bright blooms in summer which attract pollinators as well. Honeybees and butterflies will come to your garden bringing movement and colour. Plus you’ll be doing your bit to increase the biodiversity of our gardens and up numbers of our pretty UK native insects.

We recommend you plant tubers at least 45cm apart and around 10cm deep in moist free-draining soil and sited in full sun. This gives Boogie Woogie the chance to grow and develop into big free-flowering plants that you’ll be proud to have in your garden.

Grow to the centre and back of flower borders with other dahlia varieties in red and yellow and plants with contrasting growth like achilleas and crocosmia.
