They arrived well packed and really fresh looking far better than a plant for one company I used, I gave the plants some water planted them temporary once area where they were going to be planted was ready I planted them took me some time as I am disabled.
They were flowering on arrival, and are now looking good in pots.
Quality of plants were on the whole good although the salvias were a bit knocked about and quite a few damaged leaves and several had made an escape bid out of their cells. Only downside was no notification email of dispatch so we hadn't been expecting them and were out on the Saturday morning they were delivered. Full marks to postie who managed to unlock the back gate( and you have to be tall to reach over) and put them in the cold frame.
Dianthus Wee Willie - Plants
New breeding gives this disease-resistant dwarf and compact Dianthus a great reason for getting in your garden. Beautiful and pleasantly- scented UK favourites, Wee Willie suits a courtyard garden, a cottage garden or a wall-side border.
A charming little carnation-like flower with a colourful inner-ring on the petals. Every plant gives flowers a different shade of purple or white.
Plant closely together (around 5-10cm apart) and gorgeous Wee Willie will supress weeds as well thanks to its compact and charming dwarf growth.
We recommend you plant at the front of flower beds if your growing them directly in soil so you can see them up close and from a distance.
You receive 48 young plants in a plastic pocket that acts like a greenhouse for your plants – the perfect conditions for your young plants before you plant them out in your garden in pots or in your flower bed.
Plant them in any part of the garden that gets full or part sun into compost or loamy soil. If your soil is too heavy or stony, mix some compost in it to get a good consistency.See Full Description +
