Get perennial Erysimum Gogh’s Gold to fill the front of the beds with peach, apricot flowers that are highly scented. Pastel flowers stunningly grown with dark tulips like Burgundy and Seadov, for a perfect yin and yang contrast.

Grow wallflowers in your garden and cut some to put in a vase in the rooms of your house. Choose to grow them in pots if you just have a patio or balcony, or in flower borders in front of taller cottage-style flowers like foxgloves, crown imperials and hollyhocks.

We recommend you position three young plants of Gogh’s Gold in a 30cm pot or around six in a metre-long border by a sunny wall. Plant in all-purpose compost in containers. If you decide to grow directly in hard, clay soil add compost to improve the soil for the roots.
