Stunning in looks and stunning in scent. The Freesia mixed is the ideal collection for both in the garden and also inside the home.
Freesias are known to last brilliantly as a cut flowering packing your house with a wealth of colour and filling your rooms with the wonderful sweet scents that the flowers provide.
What we really love about the Freesia is its fantastic mix that provides flowers packed full of colour variations, such as beautiful whites, rich oranges and vibrant yellows, combined with beautiful rich green foliage. Different textures and heights also bring character to this plant either in your garden creating a wonderful display of tantalising visuals or bringing to life your pots, containers and vases.
Many think that because the Freesias originates from the other side of the world, they will be difficult to plant, this is simply not true! If you are planting indoor in containers plant your Freesias from around January to April. Provide your Freesias with a well-drained spot to plant up in, giving them a soil rich in organic matter. To ensure that you get the best growth rate, plant around 5-8cm apart so that your bulbs have the space required to grow.
If you are planting outdoors in the garden ensure that winter and spring frosts have passed and plant into well-drained soil with good organic matter. If you have initially provided your freesias with a good soil then further feeding will not be required.
Enjoy stunning displays both inside and outside of the home.See Full Description +
