Charming perennial plant revealing lots of spires of pink flowers extremely attractive to honeybees. Leaves are intricate and equally as fragrant as the flowers. Rub the foliage between your palms and let the natural oils in the leaves restore your hands and make them smell great.

This French lavender variety grows to 45cm (18in) and is drought resistant. Even in the driest of summers Bandera Pink will flower well every year in poor and shallow soils, given it gets full sun. Grow as a hedge, along a wall-side border or in ornate containers.

We recommend you position 5 young plants 40-50cm apart along a 2m long wall-side border or plant one young plant in a 30cm container.

Compact and upright Bandera Pink has a tidy habit, perfect if you want a formal garden and wish to raise a few eyebrows from garden guests. Flowering through the whole of summer from as early as May Bandera Pink offers you the perfect backdrop for summer barbecues and garden parties.

Give Bandera Pink a small haircut with shears in autumn to keep them neat and well-domed. You need only take the top 5-10cm off to encourage your lavender to branch well for more flowers next year.
