Red Duke: A beautiful hardneck with red cloves. It originates from Moravia, Czech Republic and has good strength of flavour and although there are others with similar colouring, Red Duke has far superior white skin cover and is a harder, more durable garlic in the UK climate. It has a particularly strong garlic flavour and scent.
Expertly selected to give you reliable and attractive purple-striped garlic from as early as June. Proven to grow particularly well in the UK, Caulk survives winter temperatures down to -20C° (-4°F) for your peace of mind.
How you receive your garlic bulbs:
Your garlic bulbs arrive to you in mesh bags so the individual bulbs are kept nicely together while air can get to them freely. This keeps them in the best condition they can be when they arrive to you.
Can’t plant straight away?
Garlic bulbs store really well given the right conditions. All you need to do is make sure they are kept in their mesh bags and hung up in a cool, dry place with good air circulation. A semi-heated or connected garage or a loft is perfect. Look to plant within a month.See Full Description +
