Get hold of this pretty perennial variety of geum, a flower that shows off red rose-like flowers with contrasting central yellow flower parts. Display the illuminating flowers in pots or containers filled with moist soil or by a garden pond or bog garden where it is happy in the damp soils and attracts pollinating insects.

An ideal flower for passing hoverflies, dragonflies and damselflies. Geum Mrs Bradshaw is a great addition to your borders, particularly if you want to bring in and support local wildlife.

Partner with other varieties of Geum like Koi, a complementing orange-flowered cousin or with contrasting moist-loving plants like hardy ferns and sedges.

Useful Tip:

Grow in a sunny part of your garden or a part of your garden that gets some sun throughout the day. We recommend that you position your three plants as a group, spacing the individual plants around 20cm (8in) apart if growing in a bed. We recommend you grow in a triangular formation if you want to grow them in a pot. Use good, rich compost and water well at planting.
