Grafted Vegetables

Many of us have small gardens where growing space is at a premium and crop rotation isn’t an option Grafted plants are strong and disease resistant so the same crops can be grown in the same spot year after year without  the risk of disease building up in the soil.

Grafting combines a hardy base plant, highly resistant to soil-borne disease, grafted onto a variety with fruits of a superior flavour.  The graft is secured with a clip until the cell structures knit together so it is important not to remove the clip until this process is complete.
